Embark on a divine pilgrimage to Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, an experience that blends spirituality with breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. This meticulously planned itinerary ensures a comfortable and fulfilling journey, starting from Lucknow and culminating in the sacred land of Tibet.
Your journey begins with an overnight stay in Lucknow, followed by a scenic drive to Nepalgunj, the gateway to Mount Kailash. From Nepalgunj, a flight to Simikot offers a glimpse of Nepal's remote beauty before a helicopter ride to Hilsa, the Nepal-Tibet border. Once in Tibet, pilgrims proceed to Taklakot (Purang) for acclimatization before heading to Lake Manasarovar, where they perform the sacred parikrama and rituals by the holy waters.
The three-day Kailash Kora (trekking around Mount Kailash) begins from Darchen, offering breathtaking views of the north face of Mount Kailash at Dirapuk. The most challenging yet rewarding day is the trek over Dolma La Pass (5,636m), which leads to the sacred Gauri Kund and onward to Zuthulpuk. Completing the Kora brings a sense of divine fulfillment, after which the group returns to Taklakot before retracing the journey back through Hilsa, Simikot, Nepalgunj, and finally to Lucknow.
This well-structured itinerary ensures proper acclimatization, expert guidance, and a spiritually enriching experience, making the journey to Kailash Mansarovar a truly once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage.
