Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Calicut

On arrival with meeting and assistance at the airport/railway station. Our Ghumney representative will meet to welcome and escort you and straight transfer to Hotel. On arrival check-in at Hotel. In the evening, proceed to Muzhuppilangad beach. This 4.5 Kms long stretch along the northern Kerala coast is the only drive-in beach in the state. Enjoy swimming in this shallow beach and feel the wind on your face while the sun works a tan on you. Return to the hotel in the late evening for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2 : Calicut - Wayanad

Next morning after breakfast, drive to Wayanad. On reaching Wayanad check-in at one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax for a while in the hotel room before moving out to explore the Banasura Sagar Dam which considered to be the largest earth dam in India and the second largest in the Asia. Later visit the Meenmutty fall, gurgling down from a height of 300 meters, it falls in 3 separate tiers. To take a 2 Km trek to reach the fall and the view of the fall is worth the effort. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Wayanad

In the morning after breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Wayanad. The major tourist attractions of Wayanad include Edakkal caves, Ambalavayal Museum, Soochippara Waterfalls, Pookot Lake and the Neelimala view Point. After the visit return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 : Wayanad - Wildlife Sanctuary

Early morning after breakfast leave to visit the tea, coffee and spice plantation in the region. Later in the day enjoy packed lunch at Kurva Dweep Island. Situated on the tributaries of river Kabani it is a fabulous picnic point. This isolated island features an array of uncommon species of birds, orchids and herbs. Later in the day proceed to visit the Tholpetty wildlife Sanctuary. It is a popular wildlife sanctuary of Wayanad. Enjoy night camping at the sanctuary. The watch tower of this sanctuary is situated above the lake and is the main water source to animals. In the night one can see a large number of animals as to they arrive at the watch tower to drink water. During night camping in this wildlife sanctuary one can Bison, Jungle Cats and Elephants. Enjoy overnight stay at wildlife sanctuary.

Day 5 : Wayanad - Nileshwaram

On the following day drive straight to Nileshwaram. As you reach Nileshewaram, check-in at one of our listed hotels to relax in the cozy comfort of its room for a while. Later in the day proceed for a temple tour of the city. The major tourist attractions of Nileshwaram include Neelakandeswara temple, Sri Vettaykkorumakan temple, Suvarnavalli Vishnu temple, Kadanjathoor Sree Krishna temple and the Shasta temple. In the evening visit the Bekal Fort to watch the beautiful sunset. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 : Nileshwaram - Coorg

Post breakfast, drive straight to Coorg. Upon reaching Coorg, get accommodated at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while embark to visit Omkareshwara temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple reflects the Muhammadan style of architecture. Later in the day visit the Dubare Elephant Camp. Located near the Madikeri the camp is famous for training elephants. The deciduous forest in which the camp is set houses several species like Asiatic Elephants and spotted deer. One can enjoy a joyride on the elephant, coracle ride and wildlife safari being at this center. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 : Coorg

Next day after breakfast, move out for visiting the other major attractions of Coorg. The other major attractions of Coorg include Bhagamandala, Iruppu Falls, Abbi Falls, Gaddige and the Madikeri Fort. In the evening visit the Raja’s seat. The garden is surrounded by several high and low-rise mountains and was the favorite place of the King of Kodagu. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 : Coorg - Mysore

In the morning after breakfast, drive straight to Mysore. On reaching Mysore, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Later in the day enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mysore. The major tourist attractions of Mysore include Golden Royal Elephant, Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Zoo and the Durbar hall. Enjoy an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 9 : Mysore

Next morning after breakfast, drive towards Mysore. The major tourist attractions of Mysore include visit to Mysore Palace, Tipu Sultan Palace, Lalit Mahal Palace, Jaganmohan Palace and Art Gallery and the Chamudeshwari temple. After the visit return to the hotel to take some rest. Spend the evening at leisure. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : Mysore - Bangalore

Post breakfast, drive towards Bangalore. Upon reaching Bangalore check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while move out to enjoy a sightseeing tour of Bangalore. The major tourist attractions of Bangalore include St. Mark's Cathedral, ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna-Chandra temple, Shivasamudram Falls, and Wonderla Amusement Park. In the evening pay a visit to the Nandi temple and the Vidhan Soudha temple. Enjoy overnight in the hotel.

Day 11 : Departure Bangalore

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to airport/railway station to board flight/train for onward destination.
