Overview

Some of the tranquil villages in Orissa serve as the permanent abode to ancient tribes. Most of these villages are jotted with lush green forests, scenic landscapes and an array of flora and fauna, which makes the villages, self-sufficient for the tribal people.

This tour will take the visitors to some of the remote villages and will offer them the opportunity to know about their colourful life and cultures. Almost each of the days in this tour will be dedicated to different tribes so that the visitors can get to know them closely.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Bhubaneswar

On arrival with meeting and assistance at the airport/railway station. Our Ghumney representative will meet to welcome and escort you and straight transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2 : Bhubaneswar - Rayagada

After breakfast driver to Rayagada on the way visit some semi Saura Tribes village. Overnight stay in Rayagada.

Day 3 : Rayagada - Jeypore

After breakfast visit to Chatikana Tribal Market. See there Dangariya Primitive tribes, on way to Jaypore visit San Paraja tribe village. Overnight in Jaypore.

Day 4 : Jeypore

After breakfast drive to Unakadeli Market. Most primitive tribe in Odisha. Later visit to Potori Village and Bada Paraja Village and Gadaba Tribes. Overnight Jaypore.

Day 5 : Jeypore - Baliguda

After breakfast drive to Baliguda via Tumudi Bandha. Over night at Baliguda.

Day 6 : Baliguda

After breakfast drive to Barkhama weekly market and Kutia Kondha tribal villages. Visit Barkhama brace metal village. Over night Baliguda.

Day 7 : Baliguda - Bhubaneswar

After breakfast proceed to Bhubaneswar(250 kms) on the way see black sugar factory, Untouchable village, Bamboo Basketmaker village, Paper mask village, Atri hotsprint . Check in at Bhubaneswar.

Day 8 : Bhubaneswar

fter Breakfast visit to Mukteswar Temple, Parsurameswar, Rajarani & Lingaraj Temple. In second half visit to Khandagiri, Udaigiri, Zoo and Trible Museum. Over night at Bhubaneswar.

Day 9 : Bhubaneswar - Puri

Proceed to Puri Via Konark. On the way visit Dhauli Buddhist Monastery, Pipli Applicable work village, Konark Sun Temple, Chandrabhaga sea beach, Chhaitana Stone Carving Village, Over night stay in Puri.

Day 10 : Puri

After breakfast proceed to Chilka(Largest salt water lake in Asia) see Irrawaddy Dolphin, Sea mouth(lagoon) watch migratory bird, Boating and back to Puri. In evening visit to Golden Beach.

Day 11 : Bhubaneswar Depart

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to airport/railway station to board flight/train for onward destination. End of Our Services ( Check-in/ Check-out time is 1200 Hrs. at all hotels)
