Itinerary

Day 1 : ARRIVAL SRINAGAR
On arrival with meeting and assistance at Delhi airport/railway station. Our Ghumney representative will meet to welcome and escort you and straight transfer to Hotel/Houseboat in Srinagar Afternoon tour of famous Mughal gardens visit; the Nishat Bagh (the garden of pleasure) Shalimar garden (abode of love) & Chashmashahi (The royal spring). Overnight stay at Hotel / Houseboat.
Day 2 : SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR (50 KM / 1.5 HRS)
After breakfast leaves Hotel / Houseboat & proceed for full day excursion tour of Gulmarg (8700 ft)” Meadow of Flowers “.Gulmarg has a famous Golf course during summer (which is one of the highest 18-holes golf courses in the world ) & a ski resort during winter. Return back to Srinagar for dinner & overnight in Hotel.
Day 3 : SRINAGAR – SONAMARG -SRINAGAR (90 KM / 2.5 HRS)
After breakfast leave Houseboat for a full-day tour of Sonamarg (Meadows of Gold), it has sheer scenic splendor. The very way-a-metalled road snakes through massive mountains laden with forests and firs. After a breath-taking journey from Srinagar, you come across River Sindh that is abounded with trout & Mahseer. Onwards the valley opens up to a meadow. Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas glacier; a major attraction during the summer months. Sonamarg's importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. You will be fascinated to see Snowy Mountains against a cerulean sky against its backdrop. Return to Srinagar for overnight stay at houseboat/hotel.
Day 4 : SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM (90 KM / 2.5 HRS)
After breakfast leaves Hotel / Houseboat & proceed for Pahalgam (7200 ft) “Village of Shepherds “en-route visiting the world-famous saffron growing fields, Awantipura ruins (9th century ) & mart and Temple ( sun temple ). Pahalgam is also famous for the Indian film industry, some tracking routes & also a base camp for the Amarnath pilgrimage. On the same day go for Local Side Seen Aru – Betaab Valley –Chandanwari Or Mini – Switzerland which is not Include in the Package. Evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 : PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR (90 KM / 2.5 HRS)
After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to the Srinagar check – In House Boat. Evening ride by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens. Dinner and overnight at houseboat.
Day 6 : SRINAGAR DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport/railway station to board your flight/train for your onward destination.
