Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Vadodara - Chhota Udaipur

On arrival with meeting and assistance at the airport/railway station. Our Ghumney representative will meet to welcome and escort you and straight drive to Chhota Udaipur. On arrival check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit the Laxmi Vilas Palace, Baps Swaminarayan Mandir, Maharaja Palace and the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum. After the sightseeing tour of Vadodara head to Champaner by road. The major tourist hotspots to cover include Pavagadh Fort, Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, and Maa Mahakalika Temple and explore the Jambugoda Wildlife Sanctuary. Later in the day visit the tribal areas of Panchmahals District and Chhota Udaipur Taluka to see traditional houses and paintings of the tribal groups. Enjoy an overnight stay at one of our listed hotels in Chhota Udaipur.

Day 2 : Chhota Udaipur - Ahmadabad

After having breakfast, leave Chhota Udaipur to reach Ahmadabad by surface. Upon reaching in Ahmadabad you will check-in at the hotel. Take some rest and head on for sightseeing tour of Ahmadabad covering places like Sabarmati Ashram, Auto World Vintage Car Museum, Adalaj Step-well, Kankaria Lake and Sidi Saiyed's Mosque. Located on the banks of Sabarmati River, the Ahmadabad is an important commercial center of India and is visited by a large number of both leisure and business tourists. Day 3 : Ahmadabad - Lothal - Palitana

After having breakfast, go on a tour to visit Havelis of Ahmadabad. After the visit to Havelis in Ahmadabad start for Palitana via Lothal. On reaching Lothal visit the excavations of a Harappan site, the palace that is admired for its extended nature, scientific positioning and constructional skill. It is a wonder that people during the times of Harappan Civilization knew so much about technology. In the evening return to the hotel and enjoy the dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Palitana.

Day 4 : Palitana - Diu

After having breakfast in the morning, leave for Diu. Stop midway to visit the Jain temple complex situated on the top of Shatrunjaya Hill. There are more than 1300 temples that are considered the most sacred pilgrimage place by Jain devotees. After the visit resume your drive to Diu. After reaching Diu, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 : Diu - Somnath - Gir

After having breakfast drive straight to Somnath. This is an ancient temple town. The Somnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is held in high esteem by Hindus. The temple is built on the shore of the Arabian ocean on the western corner of Indian Subcontinent. After Darshan at the Somnath temple, head to Gir. Upon reaching Gir, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay at the hoteL.

Day 6 : Junagadh - Gondal

After having breakfast drive to Gir Lion Sanctuary and National Park. Enjoy the jungle safari to explore the exotic wildlife at Gir National Park. After breakfast proceeds to Gondal. On the way visit Junagadh. The major sightseeing tour includes places like Akshar Mandir, Bhavnath Temple, Damodar Kund, Darta Hill and the Emperor Ashoka’s Rock Edicts. After the visit resume your drive to Gondal. On reaching Gondal you will check-in at the hotel. Day 7 : Gondal -Dasada

After having breakfast drive straight to Dasada. Upon arriving, Check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while, pay a visit to the artisans in the village. Later in the evening move out on an excursion to the Little Rann of Kutch to have a view of desert wildlife through the gates of the fortified village of Jhijhwada. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8 : Dasada - Modhera - Patan - Balaram

After having breakfast, drive down to Modhera. The Sun temple of Modhera is one of the finest examples of Hindu temple architecture in the western India. Later drive to Patan, to view the magnificently carved 11th century step well. Then proceed to Balaram via Sidhapur known for its mansions and princely Palanpur. Check-in at the hotel in Balaram and take some rest. If the time and energy permits, you can take a stroll nearby the resort ad explore the majestic beauty of this place. Enjoy the delicious dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Balaram.

Day 9 : Balaram - Taranga - Vadnagar - Ahmadabad

After having breakfast, head to Ahmadabad. En route visit Vadnagar and Taranga. The major tourist attractions of Vadnagar include Tana Riri memorial, the 17th century Vishnu and Shiva temples, and several Nagar Brahmin Havelis. Upon reaching Taranga visit the beautiful Taranga Jain Temples and many historic buildings. Continue to Ahmadabad. Upon reaching, Check-in at one of our listed hotels. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 : Depart Ahmadabad
