Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Srinagar

On arrival with meeting and assistance at the airport/railway station. Our Ghumney representative will meet to welcome and escort you and straight transfer to Deluxe Houseboat/Hotel in Srinagar, Afternoon rest & relax, Evening Lake rides by Shikara (Small Cruise Boat) to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens, Nehru Park inside of the Dal Lake, dinner & overnight stay at Houseboat/Hotel.

Day 2 : Srinagar – Dodhpathri – Srinagar (52 Kms. 2 Hours drive Altitude 2’730 Mtrs.)

The morning after breakfast leave from Srinagar towards to Doodhpathri (Valley of Milk) lies in a bowl-shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, at an altitude of 2,730 m (8,957 ft) above sea level. It is an alpine valley covered with snow-clad mountains and the meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. The natural meadows, which are covered with snow in winter, allow the growth of wild flowers such as daisies, forget-me-nots and butter cups during spring and summer. One can have pony for these places (Water Fall, Tangnar, Mujpathri, Palmaidan), evening return back to Houseboats/Hotel, dinner & overnight stay.

Day 3 : Srinagar - Sonamarg (87 Kms. 2 1/2 Hours drive Altitude 2740 Mtrs.)

After breakfast leave from Srinagar towards Sonamarg (Meadows of Gold), Sonamarg lies at the head of the Sindh valley. The drive through here presents a spectacular facet of the countryside; Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland, Surrounded by pine forest mountains up to 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the "Thajiwas Range Mountains" one can have a pony ride to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year the major attraction at Sonamarg in summer months, Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Leh Ladakh, dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4 : Sonamarg - Manasbal Lake – Kheerbhawani Temple - Srinagar 110 kms 3 ½ Hours Drive

After breakfast leave from Sonamarg towards to Manasbal Lake is located in the Jhelum valley, north of Srinagar city in the State of Jammu and Kashmir in India. The name Manasbal is said to be a derivative of Lake Manasarovar. Lake is encircled by three villages viz., Jarokbal, Kondabal (also called Kiln place, is situated on the north-eastern side of the lake), and Ganderbal and is stated to be the deepest lake (at 13 m/43 ft depth) in the Kashmir valley. The large growth of lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) at the periphery of the lake (blooms during July and August) adds to the beauty of the clear waters of the lake. The Mughal garden, called the Garoka, (meaning bay window) built by Nur Jahan overlooks the lake. Leave from Manasbal lake drive towards to Tulla Mulla, Half Hour Drive from Manasbal Lake, where the holy temple of the Kashmiri Hindus, Kheer Bhawani, is located over a sacred spring. Late evening returns back to Srinagar for Overnight Stay & Dinner at Houseboat/Hotel.

Day 5 : Srinagar – Gulmarg 56 Kms, 2 Hours Drive (Altitude 2730 Mtrs,)

After Breakfast leave from Srinagar towards to Gulmarg (The Meadow of Flowers) Gulmarg has one of the most beautiful summer resort/winter Ski resorts in the valley. World Highest 18 Hole Golf Course, (Gulmarg was Discovered in 16th Century by Sultan Yusuf Shah) you can have a gondola ride (By own Cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg (Altitude 3100 Mrts.) to have a real view in natural beauty of the summer also view of Nanga Parvat (Altitude 8137 Mrts.) in Cloudless Days and full snow view in winter. You can have a pony ride (By own Cost) in the open fields to Visits seven springs and to a Alpather lake (Altitude 3843 Mrts.) (By Own Cost), which remains frozen until June, dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 6 : Gulmarg - Srinagar – Pahalgam 146 Kms. 5 Hours Drive

After breakfast leave for the Pahalgam via bye pass road outer Srinagar towards to Pahalgam (The Valley of Shepherds), one of the beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all the year. It is the base for several treks in the region & for the Annual Pilgrimages to the cave shrine of Amarnath; it is surrounded by 12 high snow-capped peaks. En route, Visit the Saffron Fields of Pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old Temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantivarman) & enjoy the beautiful countryside life. Drive through the pine valley forest arrive at Pahalgam Check Inn (Hotel as per Location), One can have a real feeling of Paradise, After Lunch visit the places in Pahalgam by Pony ride (at own cost) Debayan, Shikargah & Baisaran, Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7 : Tour of Chandanwari, Behtab Valley and Aru

After breakfast leave for the tour of Chandanwari, Behtab Valley & Aru, you reach all places by Jeep (At Own Cost) or a day at leisure as per atmosphere, return back from journey check inn Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8 : Pahalgam – Srinagar (95 Kms. 3 Hours Drive Altitude 1730 Mrts.)

After breakfast leave from Pahalgam towards to Srinagar on arrival and Continue drive towards to Mughal Gardens Visits the Heritages Places, Cheshma Shahi (By Shah Jehan in 1632 AD.), Pari Mahal (By Dara Shikoh), Nishat Bagh (By Asaf Khan in 1633 AD.), Shalimar Bagh (By Jehangir in 1616 AD), & Shankaracharya Temple Late evening return back to Hotel, dinner & overnight stay.

Day 9 : Depart Srinagar International Airport

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
