Day 1 : Welcome to Tbilisi – Arrival & Hotel Transfer
Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport and complete the immigration and customs formalities before collecting your luggage. Meet our representative in the arrivals area, who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. The drive to central Tbilisi takes approximately 20–25 minutes, depending on traffic. Upon reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities with assistance from our team. Standard check-in is generally between 14:00 and 15:00, subject to hotel availability. The rest of the day is free to relax, freshen up, and settle into your accommodation.
Day 2 : Mtskheta Heritage Tour & Tbilisi City Exploration
After breakfast, begin your journey to Mtskheta, one of Georgia's oldest cities and an important centre of the country's cultural and religious heritage. The historic city is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and served as the ancient capital of Georgia. Visit the hilltop Jvari Monastery, beautifully positioned above the confluence of two rivers and offering impressive views over the surrounding landscape. Continue to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of Georgia's most significant religious monuments and a masterpiece of medieval Georgian architecture. Return to Tbilisi for a city sightseeing tour showcasing the capital's historic landmarks, traditional neighbourhoods, and distinctive character.
Day 3 : The Greater Caucasus – Ananuri, Gudauri & Kazbegi
Today, embark on a full-day journey into the spectacular Greater Caucasus Mountains, travelling through some of northern Georgia's most scenic landscapes. Your first stop is the Zhinvali Reservoir, a beautiful turquoise-water lake surrounded by forested mountains. Take some time to enjoy the scenery and capture photographs. Continue to the historic Ananuri Fortress, a striking medieval complex overlooking the reservoir. Explore its distinctive architecture and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The journey then continues towards Gudauri, a popular mountain resort located high in the Greater Caucasus. During the winter months, the area becomes a favourite destination for snow and skiing enthusiasts. Cross the scenic Jvari Pass and stop at the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument, positioned at approximately 2,384 metres above sea level. The location provides spectacular views across the surrounding mountain valleys and is an excellent spot for photographs. Continue towards Kazbegi, one of Georgia's most scenic mountain regions. From here, take a 4x4 vehicle along the mountain road to reach the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, dramatically situated at approximately 2,170 metres above sea level. Take time to admire the surrounding peaks and breathtaking alpine scenery before beginning the return journey.
Day 4 : Tbilisi at Leisure & Optional Excursions
Enjoy a relaxed day in Tbilisi with no scheduled sightseeing. Spend the day discovering the city at your own pace. Explore local markets, enjoy Georgian cuisine, browse for souvenirs, visit cafés, or simply wander through the historic streets of the capital.
Day 5 : Farewell Georgia – Departure
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before completing the check-out formalities. Standard check-out time is generally around 12:00, subject to the hotel's policy. Depending on your flight schedule, luggage can be stored at the hotel if you have additional free time before departure. At the scheduled time, transfer to Tbilisi International Airport for your onward flight.
