Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Yerevan & Yerevan City Tour
Upon arrival at Zvartnots International Airport, Yerevan, you will be met and greeted by a representative from Best Tour and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some time to refresh, proceed for a guided city tour of Yerevan. Begin with the iconic Cascade Complex, a monumental limestone staircase housing an impressive collection of contemporary art. Continue to the Opera House and stroll along North Avenue, one of the city's prominent pedestrian streets. Next, visit Republic Square, located in the heart of Yerevan and surrounded by some of the city's most significant architectural landmarks. Continue to the historic Blue Mosque, an 18th-century Islamic architectural monument. The tour continues to Saryan Street, known for its vibrant atmosphere and artistic heritage, followed by a leisurely walk through the nearby park and some of Yerevan's newly opened parks. After the city tour, return to the hotel.
Day 2 : Yerevan – Amberd Fortress – Alphabet Alley – Yerevan
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the Aragatsotn Region. Drive towards the historic Amberd Fortress, a remarkable medieval complex comprising a fortress and church, situated on the southern slopes of Mount Aragats. Located approximately 2,300 meters above sea level, Amberd is often referred to as the “Fortress in the Clouds.” The peaceful surroundings and dramatic mountain scenery make this one of Armenia's most impressive historical sites. Continue to Alphabet Alley, a unique cultural monument dedicated to the Armenian alphabet and its historical significance. In the evening, return to Yerevan.
Day 3 : Yerevan – Arch of Charents – Garni Temple – Symphony of Stones – Geghard Monastery – Yerevan
After breakfast, begin the day's excursion with a visit to the Arch of Charents, a scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Ararat and the surrounding landscape. Continue to the ancient Garni Fortress, dating back to the 3rd century BC, and visit the magnificent Temple of Garni, a remarkable example of pre-Christian Armenian architecture dating to the 1st century AD. Next, explore the Symphony of Stones, a spectacular natural formation in the Garni Gorge. These impressive basalt columns were formed through volcanic geological processes and resemble a giant organ, creating a truly unique natural landscape. The journey continues to the historic Geghard Monastery, one of Armenia's most important medieval architectural treasures. Dating back to the 4th century AD, the monastery reached its architectural prominence during the medieval period. Many of its churches and chambers are carved directly into the surrounding rock, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of medieval Armenian architects. Geghard Monastery is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After sightseeing, return to Yerevan.
Day 4 : Yerevan – Tsaghkadzor – Lake Sevan – Yerevan
After breakfast, depart for the Gegharkunik Region. The first stop will be Kecharis Monastery, a historic medieval monastic complex founded in the 11th century by the Armenian Pahlavuni princes. The monastery is an important example of Armenia's rich religious and architectural heritage. Continue to Tsaghkadzor, a picturesque mountain resort town. Enjoy a ride on the Tsaghkadzor Ropeway and take in spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Armenian landscapes. For those interested, optional activities such as ziplining may also be available at an additional cost. Next, proceed to Lake Sevan, famously known as the “Pearl of Armenia.” It is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the world's largest high-altitude freshwater lakes. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and its surrounding mountains. In the evening, return to Yerevan.
Day 5 : Transfer to the airport
