Itinerary

Day 1 : ARRIVAL COCHIN
On arrival with meeting and assistance at the airport/railway station. Our Ghumney representative will meet to welcome and escort you and straight transfer to Hotel. Afterward, head out for sightseeing in Cochin. Today, this cosmopolitan city, also known as "Queen of the Arabian Sea" and "Gateway to Kerala", is dotted with numerous attractions. The famous tourist attractions that you will visit include Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace or Mattancherry Palace and St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in the country, etc. You can also savor the taste of Kerala dishes at one of the many restaurants. In the evening, go to explore the Chinese fishing nets a unique fishing technique that creates an amazing view during the sunsets. This is followed by an overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 2 : COCHIN – MUNNAR (130 KM / 3 HRS)
After having breakfast. Leave by road for Munnar in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive to the most beautiful hill station in Kerala. You will be accompanied by the misty roads, the cloudy skies, and a number of dramatic waterfalls on your way. After arriving, check into the hotel. Munnar, situated almost 6,000ft above sea level, enchants visitors with its pleasant climate, lovely surroundings, and tea plantations, besides others. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, doing what you like. This is followed by an overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 3 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEN
After having breakfast, head out for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Our well-planned Kerala honeymoon packages will take you to the best tourist places in Munnar. The places which you will visit include Christ Church, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, and Anamudi Peak, which stands at an altitude of 2,695m above sea-level. All these places are popular tourist attractions and offer plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and exploration. Eravikulam National Park is home to the rare species of Nilgiri Tahr. Enjoy the blooming Neelakurunji in the green valley and a great view of tea plantations from the park. Then visit the Mattupetty Dam, constructed in late 1940 which is now a major source of hydroelectricity. The dam reservoir is flocked by birds and animals for being full of water throughout the year. This is one of the best tourist places in Kerala. Here tourists enjoy boating and also get stunned at the view of Anamudi peak and mountain slopes decorated by tea plantations. You can also trek in the Shola forest where a serene lake is surrounded by hilly groves making it a photographer's paradise. This is followed by an overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 4 : MUNNAR - THEKKADY (110 KM / 3 HRS)
After having breakfast, complete the check-out formalities from the hotel and leave for Thekkady with another scenic drive. Thekkady is famous for its Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities and rest for some time. In the afternoon, enjoy a motorboat ride on Periyar Lake for sightseeing. During your ride, spot the elephants bathing on the lakeside. Admire the beauty of the serene lake that offers eternal beauty during the sunset. If you are lucky can expect the view of the blooming Neelakurinji on the slope of the mountain. Periyar attracts tourists with its incredible variety of wildlife, including birds, animals, and reptiles, besides others. Brave souls can enjoy hiking, bamboo rafting, and jungle patrol in the trail of the park. This is followed by an overnight stay in the Thekkady hotel.
Day 5 : THEKKADY - ALLEPPEY (30 KM / 1 HRS)
After having breakfast, start driving towards Alleppey in the morning, also known as Alappuzha. After arriving, board a luxury houseboat, locally known as Kentville. Today you will experience the absolute serenity of Kerala backwater on a luxury Alleppey houseboat. This is the most cheering part of your Kerala honeymoon tour packages. The houseboat, equipped with modern comforts, consists of many rooms with several variations. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and observe the lifestyle of the people. Day 6 : ALLEPPEY - KOVALAM (170 KM / 4 HRS)
After having breakfast, Check-out the houseboat and make your way to Kovalam, the beach town, by road. On arrival, complete your check-in formalities and rest for some time. After that, you have the option of visiting the various beaches or enjoying water sports. You can also experience the magic of Kerala Ayurveda at one of the many Ayurveda centers in Kovalam. In the evening, you can visit the market to purchase aromatic spices, handicrafts, wooden statues and much more. This is followed by an overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 7 : KOVALAM SIGHTSEEN
After having breakfast. Relax on the beautiful Kovalam Beach in the morning and then make your way towards Kanyakumari, also known as Cape Comorin during the British days. Here, you will visit the famous ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy your day on the beach. You will also visit the wonderful Padmanabhapuram Palace, an ancient palace with enthralling architecture. Return to Kovalam for an overnight stay.
Day 8 : DEPARTURE TRIVANDRUM
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to airport/railway station to board flight/train for onward destination.
