Itinerary

Day 1 : Welcome to Baku – Arrival & Hotel Transfer
Arrive at Baku International Airport, where you will complete immigration and customs formalities before collecting your luggage. Our representative will meet you at the airport arrivals area and assist with your transfer to the hotel. The journey to central Baku takes approximately 30–35 minutes, depending on traffic. Upon arrival, proceed with the hotel check-in formalities. Standard check-in is generally available from around 14:00–15:00, subject to the hotel's policy and room availability. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Take some time to relax, freshen up, and settle into your accommodation.
Day 2 : Discover Baku – Old City & Modern Landmarks
After breakfast, begin your guided exploration of Baku, combining the city's historic character with its striking modern architecture. Start at Upland Park, one of the city's best viewpoints, offering panoramic views across Baku, the Caspian Sea, and the surrounding urban landscape. Continue to Icherisheher (Old City), the historic heart of Baku and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its atmospheric lanes and discover landmarks including the Maiden Tower, Palace of the Shirvanshahs, ancient caravanserais, mosques, traditional bathhouses, and the Museum of Miniature Books. Continue towards the Baku Boulevard, passing several notable city landmarks along the way. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the Caspian waterfront and see attractions such as Little Venice, the International Mugham Centre, Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, Baku Eye Ferris Wheel, Crystal Hall, and Government House. Next, visit the remarkable Heydar Aliyev Centre, an architectural landmark designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid. Its distinctive flowing curves and contemporary design make it one of Baku's most recognizable sights. Enjoy time for photographs around the centre and at the popular “I Love Baku” sign. The sightseeing continues with views of some of Baku's modern architectural icons, including the Flame Towers, Congress Hall, SOCAR Tower, Azersu Building, Olympic Gymnastics Arena, and Baku Olympic Stadium. 15:00 | Return to the hotel or drop-off in central Baku The evening is free for personal activities and independent exploration.
Day 3 : Caucasus Mountains Excursion – Shamakhi, Ismayilli & Gabala
Today, leave the vibrant capital behind and travel towards the scenic mountain regions of Azerbaijan. Your first destination is Shamakhi, a historic city with a rich connection to Azerbaijan's medieval past and the former Shirvanshah state. Once an important stop along the ancient Silk Road, Shamakhi offers a glimpse into the country's cultural and architectural heritage. Visit the impressive Juma Mosque and the historic Diri Baba Mausoleum, before continuing your scenic journey through the beautiful landscapes of Ismayilli towards Gabala. Known for its dramatic mountain scenery, forests, valleys, rivers, and peaceful countryside, Gabala is one of Azerbaijan's most popular nature destinations. Visit Nohur Lake, a tranquil mountain lake surrounded by forested hills and lush vegetation. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and capture photographs of the picturesque landscape. Continue to Gabala's New Mosque, known for its elegant architecture and decorative interiors featuring traditional Islamic motifs and Azerbaijani artistic influences. The final stop is Tufandag Mountain Resort, a spectacular destination surrounded by the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Day 4 : Baku at Leisure – Explore at Your Own Pace
Enjoy a relaxed day in Baku with no scheduled sightseeing. Use your free time to explore the city independently, revisit your favorite locations, shop for local souvenirs, discover cafés and restaurants, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the Azerbaijani capital.
Day 5 : Farewell Azerbaijan – Departure
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before completing the check-out formalities. Standard check-out time is generally around 12:00, subject to the hotel's policy. Depending on your flight schedule, your luggage may be stored at the hotel while you enjoy some additional free time in Baku. At the scheduled time, transfer to Baku International Airport for your onward journey.
